Mrs. Guy Churness, resident of Greenwood Township, north of Clearbrook, died at the hospital at Bagley, April 6, at the age of 56.
Funeral services were held at First Lutheran Church at Clearbrook on Monday, April 10, at 1 p.m. The Rev. Hubert DeBoer officiated and burial will be made in the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Clearbrook.
Maude A. Churness was born April 29, 1904, at Clearbrook, a daughter of Olaf and Daisy Johnson. Her marriage to Guy Churness took place June 3, 1922.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter Mrs. Ray Fezella (Mildred) of Moorhead; two sons, Gerald and Ray of San Diego, California; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Holman of Anchorage, Alaska and Mrs. Carrie Gill of Duluth; two brothers, Clarence Johnson of Anchorage and Donald of Shelby, Montana.
