- Mrs. Sophie Wildmo, 80, of Clearbrook, died at the hospital at Bagley, Tuesday afternoon. She had been a patient there for four days.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wildmo will be held Saturday, December 23, at the United Lutheran Church, south of Gonvick with the Rev. E. M. Berg officiating. Burial will be made in the Church Cemetery under the direction of the ease Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wildmo was born August 15, 1887, at Nielsville, Minnesota, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kleng Sand. Her marriage to Jacob Wildmo took place at Berner on February 20, 1909. Mr. Wildmo died in 1960. Mrs. Wildmo came to the Berner area with her parents when she was eight years old when they established a homestead there.
Survivors include the following children: Alice (Mrs. Paul Lundmark) of Brainerd; Art of Bemidji; Edna (Mrs. Ralph Collette) of Brainerd; a foster daughter, Mrs. Marie Hofstad, Oklee; Roy of Flint, Michigan. There are 29 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wildmo had been active in the United Lutheran Church and the Lades Aid. [1]
